La d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence maculaire peut avoir un effet d\u00e9vastateur sur notre vision centrale, et nous ne disposons pas de traitements efficaces une fois que les dommages ont \u00e9t\u00e9 caus\u00e9s. Il est donc essentiel de faire tout ce qui est en notre pouvoir pour pr\u00e9venir et r\u00e9duire le risque de la maladie, tout comme on prot\u00e8ge sa peau du soleil pour r\u00e9duire le risque de cancer de la peau. Dans la quatri\u00e8me partie, nous avons abord\u00e9 les facteurs de risque qui peuvent contribuer \u00e0 la maladie maculaire. Nous allons maintenant voir ce que nous pouvons faire pour aider \u00e0 la pr\u00e9venir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que les enfants sont plus souvent \u00e0 l'ext\u00e9rieur que les adultes et que, de nos jours, ils fixent leurs appareils pendant de nombreuses heures, ils sont encore plus expos\u00e9s que les adultes aux risques de l\u00e9sions r\u00e9tiniennes. Nous pouvons commencer par enseigner \u00e0 nos enfants les bonnes habitudes \u00e0 prendre pour prot\u00e9ger nos yeux, comme le port de lunettes de soleil de qualit\u00e9 qui bloquent 99% de la lumi\u00e8re UV nocive, l'installation d'un filtre anti-lumi\u00e8re bleue sur leurs lunettes de vue et l'encouragement \u00e0 faire de l'exercice physique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'autre facteur qui peut faire une grande diff\u00e9rence dans notre sant\u00e9 r\u00e9tinienne au fil des ans est notre r\u00e9gime alimentaire. Comme il est peu probable que nos enfants mangent les 8 \u00e0 10 portions n\u00e9cessaires de l\u00e9gumes \u00e0 feuilles vertes, je recommande de compl\u00e9ter la r\u00e9tine de nos enfants avec une vitamine oculaire adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 leur \u00e2ge, comme Eye Promise Screen Shield Teen, une multivitamine \u00e0 m\u00e2cher qui a bon go\u00fbt et qui contient de la z\u00e9axanthine et de la lut\u00e9ine formul\u00e9es pour les enfants et les adolescents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
